While many aspects of Two Over One are the same as Standard American, the 2/1 system has significant advantages. Most players learn 2/1 in an introductory course where they learn the game force and the forcing 1NT over a 1-of-a-major opening. While these are important elements of the system, the main advantages of 2/1 appear at the next level, which cannot be covered in introductory 2/1 courses. This course is designed for players who are comfortable with the basic 2/1 system and are ready to learn the next level of 2/1 concepts, aimed at finding the right games, exploring slams below game with mild interest (and sometimes finding them!), and serious slam tries. The lessons are interactive, allowing you to play several bridge hands each session. Each lesson will be recorded and emailed to you, along with a recap of the hands that were played. This course is suitable for multiple skill levels, from intermediate to advanced.
