Service Description

Defending is widely regarded as the most difficult part of Bridge. If you would like to practice Defending several hands each lesson after learning about the most important Defending tactics, then this course is perfect for you. Does leading a big spot card show a doubleton or a lousy suit? What is passive and active defense and how can it help? What is the Hold Up play and when should it be used? What should I discard and does my partner’s discard provide any info? What other information is available to the defenders? All these questions and more will be answered and practiced during this defending course. Each student will sit in the same seat and have the same defending “problem”, partnering with a robot who will defend appropriately. All lessons will be recorded (recordings never expire) and emailed to you, along with a recap of the hands that were played. This course is suitable for multiple skill levels, from novice to advanced.
